2012-04-21

With great pleasure, we would like to announce that the CMMI-SVC Arabic translation project that we have announced earlier has finally secured sponsorship fund to get going. Currently, the sponsorship agreement has been signed between the project manager and the sponsor, the team agreements with SEI have been established, and the project kick-off meeting has been held. The project is now in progress and we hope to announce the final release and availability of the CMMI-SVC Arabic version soon.

We are happy to acknowledge our sponsor for the CMMI-SVC Arabic translation project Dr. Abdulaziz Ebrahim Husain Al-Terki, Assistant General Manager at the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), http://www.nbk.com, from Kuwait, who is sponsoring the project at his personal expenses, and will also be participating voluntarily in the project as a verifier.

Dr. Abdulaziz Ebrahim Al-Terki, an Assistant General Manager at the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) and member in Jaber Quality Award Committee in Kuwait, expert in the field of Management, Banking, Audit, Quality, Project Management, Governance and Communication.  Interested in Talent Management, Innovation, Writing, and Knowledge Management.  Always try to bring the latest on Technology, Process, International Standards (such as CMMI-SVC) into the Arabic literature to promote Change, Talent, Quality, Continuous Improvement and Development in our culture and working environment to ensure constant and steady economic growth.

"It takes a Talent to discover a Talent", said Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Terki.

While we thank Dr. Abdulaziz for taking this initiative genuinely at his own will, we hope other business people around the Arab world will take similar steps in supporting the national enabling activities everywhere, and in bearing their social responsibilities and duties.

Please stay tuned for our delivery announcement.
